An Excellent Account

A remarkable compilation that can be read again & again

Dancing With Your Horse

A rare look at Islay life at a crucial historicalFor the neophyte historian or searcher for genological roots, the daybook's entries will regularly pose questions which should send the reader scurrying to other resource material. For those better versed in island history of this period, this Day Book provides a reliable view of community affairs on Islay and similarly on other nearby islands.
The few stateside copies of this book are crumbling so it is tragic that the Aberdeen University press is not keeping it in circulation. Send them an e mail to encourage reprinting. END

The single-best Cthulhu/Lovecraft anthology in a long time

Fast and furious!

The content fits the titleAt first I found the first chapter a little overwhelming. I scanned over it and continued reading the rest of the book. I found the book fascinating, and was unable to put it down during some free time in the summer. I finished the book reading chapter 1 again.
The opening chapter describes models for decision making that may be helpful to clinicians in reflecting on their practice. Each contributor in the book, an expert in her field, has reviewed the recent literature on her topic and has presented case reports on children from her practice. In their case reports the contributors elaborate on the bases for their choices of goals, the measures used to document problems and progress and the intervention provided.
Both the novice and experienced pediatric PT will benefit from this book.
Reflecting back, my excitement after reading just the title was rewarded by improved patient care after reading the content.

Great Book

Excellent American HorrorIt's kind of like the horror equivalent of the NESFA Press collections, like the three-volume Hal Clement omnibus - great stories that aren't easy to find, collected and presented.
Kudos to Pelan and Nightshade for giving us a great edition of hard-to-find, high quality horror. Let's hope they keep it up with other authors, I'll keep buying them.
